When Jesus asked this question of a man who was sick and couldn’t walk, He wasn’t merely addressing his physical need. Jesus was concerned about the WHOLE person- body, soul and spirit. When we think about wellness, we often focus on the food, the fitness and the physical transformation we desire. We gather the information, we learn what to do, and still we feel stuck. Why? Because true wellness requires a holistic approach that nurtures every part of us.
At Land of the Living, we believe in focusing on the entire person – body, soul, and spirit. This approach is at the heart of all our services, including health coaching. Whether through one-on-one sessions or group coaching, we offer the flexibility to choose the support and accountability style that works best for you.
We get to come alongside you as you take on a new approach to wellness so that you can experience true Christ-centered transformation. The conversations we have and the tools we offer will empower you to integrate your faith with your health for both physical and spiritual growth. We are called to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and that’s the foundation of our Health Coaching.
What does it mean to Live Well ?
Living well means delving into areas such as your identity (what God says about you and your body), your values, mindset, strongholds, emotional health, desires, margin, movement, nutrition, gifts, calling, and community.
Living well also means putting into practice things that help you grow spiritually. We’ll guide you in cultivating a deeper understanding of the Bible, recognizing and replacing lies with truth, using somatic techniques to manage anxiety, stewarding your time wisely, and so much more. Our coaching equips you with practical tools to make lasting changes in every area of your life.

What you can expect:
Let’s begin with what Holistic Health Coaching isn’t. It’s not about quick fixes or one-size-fits-all plans. We know these don’t lead to lasting change. We’re here for true freedom, the kind that lasts. For GOOD. Everyone is uniquely and WONDERFULLY made, and the key to lasting freedom is personal participation in your wellness journey. But don’t worry, we are here to support you every step of the way.
Group Coaching
Group Coaching systematically moves you through all the areas of Living Well mentioned above. Each week, we’ll guide you through key lessons, but we don’t stop there. This is an interactive, workshop-style experience, where you’ll actively work through your next best steps in real-time. Expect a dynamic mix of teaching, worksheets, physical and spiritual practices, and meaningful group discussions.
In addition to our weekly sessions, you’ll receive mid-week devotionals, encouragement, and accountability. You’ll have access to optional virtual workouts and ongoing support from both your coach and a prayer partner. To further deepen your learning, there will be bonus content each week to help solidify the concepts, ensuring you feel confident before moving forward.
We are confident that by the end of this 12-week group, you won’t just know what to do, but you’ll be excited to do it and you’ll be equipped to persist in doing it, even when life throws you curveballs. Remember, as Jesus said, in this world you will have trouble, but take heart, He has overcome the world. We’re going to learn how to take heart and live free.

Individual Coaching
In our one-on-one sessions, instead of systematically covering each area of Living Well week by week, our conversations will center on your immediate, real-life needs. These discussions will guide the focus of each session, ensuring that every meeting is uniquely tailored to you. Our ultimate goal is to help you discover who God has created you to be and to discern the calling He has placed on your life. You have the ability to hear His voice, and He desires for you to experience a life filled with abundant joy and freedom.
Our first session will be a comprehensive exploration of your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, helping to identify your most pressing needs. From there, we will work together to partner with the Holy Spirit in crafting achievable plans that will move you forward in these areas, adapting to changes as seasons of life shift. Just as with group coaching, we’ll introduce a variety of physical and spiritual health practices to support your growth and well-being.
In your 75-minute initial session, you and your coach will begin crafting a personalized plan tailored to your unique needs. From there, you can choose between individual coaching sessions or packages, depending on what best supports your journey. We can’t wait to walk alongside you in your journey toward health and wholeness!
